We would like to introduce our new deacon-candidate from St. Bonaventure Parish, Emerson Stevens, Ph.D. Thank you for your yes in serving the Church and be assured of our Enchanted Mountain Catholic Community’s prayers for your diaconate studies. Join Dr. Stevens in person for his Bible Study on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm at BONAS Memorial Hall until June 3rd. "How the Church Became Catholic: A Deep Dive into the Acts of the Apostles and the First followers of Christ."

The sacrament of Holy Orders continues the work and actions of Jesus and his Apostles through those who answer God’s call to the priesthood.

Eternal rest grant unto your servant Francis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in eternal peace.

Be prepared for a new Mass Schedule change effective April 26/27 (Divine Mercy Sunday): We will be canceling the 7 p.m. Saturday Vigil Mass and adding an 8 a.m. Sunday Mass at the Basilica. St. John’s Saturday Vigil Mass time will change from 5:30 to 5:15 p.m. In addition, the Wednesday Confession time at the Basilica will change a half hour earlier: 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with adoration effective April 23rd. Also, the new Bible Study starting April 22nd time change is 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Marriage is a “covenant by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership for the whole of life and which is ordered, by its nature, to the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring” and which “has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament between the baptized." CCC

Thank you to all the parishes of the Enchanted Mountains Catholic Community who attended the five Sunday sessions of Life in the Eucharist Retreat! Thank you to all the clergy, presenters, witnesses, hospitality teams and the LITE Team for all the team work! Our last LITE Eucharist as Mission was presented by Cindy Nutt and she also witnessed about her mission trip to Mexico. Deacon Matt offered a “Commissioning Blessing” and the anointing of the hands to ministry leaders and volunteers. Michael Cygan played prayerful music during Adoration. Thank you to all!

Join us this Sunday at the Basilica for the EMCC Family Fellowship & Hospitality Welcome Event and the last Life in the Eucharist Lenten Retreat all about mission and sharing talents. There will be a special ministry blessing, adoration and LIVE piano music by Michael Cygan at 3 pm. It all begins with fellowship and refreshments at noon.
