You are invited to attend an information/practice session on Wednesday, March 31, at 6:00 pm in St. John’s Church during Holy Week. The Session will conclude, by putting into practice what we have learned and experienced, in Evening Prayer (Vespers) as we ready to enter into the Sacred Triduum.

During this Holy Week, let us with trust and confidence, bring our sin, suffering, pain, challenges, and our struggles, to the Lord, whose perfect compassion, mercy and love heals whatever separates us from our God and one another.

As we approach Palm Sunday, let us enter the Lord’s journey into Jerusalem, which means city of Peace. However, now it soon will be a place remembered for the Lord’s passion. For over a year, our world has been confronted by and trying to deal with the COVID-19 virus pandemic. Even though we are trying to cope with the ‘fatigue’ produced by the prolong conditions of this threat to our health and well being, we are hopeful that an end to all of its serious effects is lessening as time goes by with our personal efforts and given the numbers of those receiving a vaccine are increasing daily. As we also see the numbers of our parishioners attending in-church Masses and events increasing, we want to commend you about the precautions that are being taken and continue to be taken so that as many are returning to worship and praise the Lord in community and in-person will do so safely during this Lenten and upcoming Easter Seasons.
