Lord Jesus, You are great and greatly to be praised. You are the source of all truth and peace. You created everything by Your Word, and You hold all things together. I pray for a calm mind that is ready to hear Your powerful truth. Help me to receive Your Word in my heart and lean on You in the midst of the suffering in the world and the noise and the struggles of my life. I ask that You would give me ears to hear. Help me be still to receive Your response. Speak Lord, Your servant is listening to Your voice. Open my heart to rest in Your glorious presence. Let us find a quiet place and pray this adapted prayer from Psalm 46:10.
Be Still and Know that I Am God
Be Still and know that I Am
Be Still and Know
Be Still
Be
Be Still
Be Still and Know
Be Still and Know that I Am
Be Still and Know that I Am God
Entering into silence is the vehicle that readies us and encourages us to discover the unspoken truths and the unfathomable mystery of being (adapted from our Lenten booklet, Turn to God--copies available on the back tables).
Let us enter the silence and delve into Mystery by listening to Our God,
