Western New Yorkers have responded to Saturday’s horrible shooting at Tops in so many Christ-like ways: through prayer, outreach, support, and care in kind and unselfish ways.
In response to this tragedy, so many have asked: "What can I do to help?"
• This weekend (or the next) parishes will have a second collection where proceeds will go directly to Buffalo's East Side community. Proceeds from this collection should be made payable to “Catholic Charities: East Side Collection”. Catholic Charities of Buffalo, NY has a long history of serving and ministering to Buffalo's East Side community.
• Individuals or parishes can purchase or collect items to support Response to Love Center: canned goods, personal care items (deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, brushes, combs), toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, Clorox bleach, gift cards to Target or Walmart. | 716-894-7030

• All are invited to pray with us as our brothers and sisters of many faith honor the lives of those taken suddenly on Monday, May 23rd at 5:00 pm at St. Martin de Porres Church for an interfaith prayer service.
