PARISH UPDATE: Reservations are still needed for weekend masses. Please register online or call the parish office to reserve your time slot.
Important Reminder: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Mass reservations need to be made by noon on December 18th.
In keeping with the added precautions from State, County and Diocesan recommendations and guidelines, family and friends traveling from another state cannot be accepted per our reservation lists as they are required to quarantine for 14 days or to receive a negative Covid Test 3 days before arriving in NY. We would be unable to verify the deemed necessary public health & safety measures taken. We apologize for any inconvenience for this restriction for those coming from out of state. 12:15 pm Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday until further notice due to the construction of the elevator.
Kringle orders are being refunded. We appreciate the great response to our Kringle sale. But, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to receive the Kringle order this year. Money will be returned to those that ordered Kringles. We look forward, however, to offering this fundraiser next year with an earlier order date!
Advent Penance Service will be held on Saturday, December 19th between 10:00 am and 11:30 am at the Basilica. Individual Confessions will also be available and Expostion and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be included.
We continue to need volunteers for our ministries such as greeters, ushers, lectors and Eucharistic ministers, especially at our Christmas Eve and Christmas Masses. Please call the church office to volunteer.
