Holy Days of ObligationThe United States currently celebrates six Holy Days of Obligation. We will post Mass schedules on the Home Page of the website before the Holy Day. You may consult the parish bulletin that week as well.
- January 1 - Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God
- 40 Days after Easter - The Feast of the Ascension is a Holy Day of Obligation throughout the United States The day on which it is celebrated, however, varies. The 40th day after Easter Sunday is always a Thursday, and the feast in New York State is celebrated on that Thursday. Other areas of the United States celebrate the feast on the following Sunday.
- August 15 - Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
- November 1 - Solemnity of All Saints
- December 8 - Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
- December 25 - Solemnity of Christmas
