Eucharist is a mystery which is at the very center of Catholic life. It is the source and the summit of all preaching of the Gospel and is the center of the assembly of the faithful.
Is my child ready for sacramental preparation for First Communion?
Children in the Second Grade are eligible to engage in preparation for First Communion either through their curriculum as students at Southern Tier Catholic School or through our parish Religious Education program. The sacrament of Reconciliation [or Confession] is included in the preparation for First Communion.
