Boy Scouts of America - St. Mary of the Angels is charter sponsor for Cub Scout Pack #617 serving 36 boys (meets weekly) and Boy Scout Troop #617 serving 12 boys (meets weekly). Eleven Scouts in recent years achieved the National Catholic Religious Emblem for Latin Rite Catholic Scouts, Ad Altare Dei. In 2016 a Scout from this troop was recipient of the prestigious diocesan Pro Vita Award conferred by the Bishop and the Diocesan Pro-Life Office for his pro-life Eagle Scout project. Many of our Boy Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. But before a boy achieves that, he sure enjoys a whole lot of camping and fun learning experiences!
