Icon Workshop Retreat

ANGEL OF THE LORD ICON WORKSHOP RETREAT Sept. 19-22, 2024 | Thursday-Sunday | 9 am-5 pm Basilica’s Bradley Centennial Hall Experience a spirit filled weekend practicing the ancient art of icon “writing” as we paint the icon Angel of the Lord. Icon Writing is a contemplative, prayerful and artistic process where the icon here will be traced on a special board and then painted. Artist, David Barnas, will teach the class and assist students with completing their icon. No prior artistic training is required. Class size is limited and prior sign up is required. Donation - $125 (covers materials, donation to church, etc.) Cash or check payable to David Barnas.
