Administration Pillar Update

ADMINISTRATION PILLAR UPDATE
The following comprise the membership of our Administration Pillar.

According to the Diocesan Road to Renewal “Playbook,” the following topics are covered under this pillar: “Human Resources, Safe Environment, Governing / Family Leadership, Central Office, Personnel, Budgeting/Finances, Communications, Data / Reporting, Security/Compliance.” 
 
The first major decision to come from this pillar is the Central Office. The Central Office will be at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. This will take effect in September. The reason why the Basilica was chosen over the other two parish sites includes (1) strong infrastructure (2) room to grow and fit more staff (3) driving distance from around the geographic area covered by our family of parishes. The choice of the Basilica for the Central Office is going to cause us to make some adjustments (the administration pillar is tackling the specific questions which arise from closing two offices at our next meeting).
